I also thought it would run cooler than stock, but my car is not overheating after just 45 minutes or so of driving. I was told that the Koyo was more efficient...I guess not. Siddo (Korea) 91 TT stage IV : I just got a new Koyo radiator when my radiator cracked for an unknown reason while cruising in the canyons. : I also decided to do a complete 60K service with new belts, pump, thermostat ...etc... : The shop was very good and made sure that there was no bubbles in the system, and run the car for more than an hour while adding radiator fluid with 2 bottles of redline water wetter .. till the radiator was completely full and all the air bubbles were out !! : Now the car runs hotter I can feel the heat under the car by the downpipes .. inside the car by my legs ...and in the ashtray area .. when I open the hood, I can not touch the plenum or radiator cap, because it is sooo hot !! even after 1/2 hour from starting the car when cold. In the past with the stock radiator, the car never run this hot ! and the plenum was never this hot ! Temp in San Diego never goes above 75F, I can't boost more than 9-10 psi without hearing audible detonation ! : I am thinking of replacing the Koyo, direct OEM replacement, I have now, with the high performance, all aluminum one !! : It's only $100 more ! : I really expected this one to be as good if not better than OEM ! maybe not !
